The top three values that drive you

  1. Be good to the people around you
  2. Be good to nature
  3. Enjoy every moment of your life

Your favourite thing about the job

At the end of the day, I know we did something good for the community, for those in need, for the environment and for the very food and lives behind them.

Every effort we make impacts and contributes to our cause. Moreover, I am surrounded by amazing teammates and managers, who are caring, motivated and talented; I am genuinely happy to see them every day and feel truly blessed to be able to spend time with them striving for our cause.

Your favourite way to use up food in your fridge

I buy only what I need; plan meals before grocery shopping; I try to use all the parts of the food as much as possible; I take vegetables straight from the garden to the table and I do my best to respect nature for the food it created

How you like to recharge

Play tennis; meet up with friends; go for a walk with my dog; spend time with or call friends and families; go travelling; try out new things; go for a drive; garden; read books; paint; craft; crochet, sew, and take a nap!

Your favourite quote

I have a few!

“If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his own language, that goes to his heart” ― Nelson Mandela

“Don’t only practise your art, but force your way into its secrets, for it and knowledge can raise men to the divine” ― Ludwig van Beethoven

“Never lose an opportunity of seeing anything beautiful, for beauty is God’s handwriting” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson

What makes you laugh

My life is a comedy!

Who inspires you, and why

My grandfather. He was very unconventional, had a strong will, was very passionate and energetic, loved his family, and lived life to the fullest.

The most important lesson you’ve learned in your career to date

Balance.

The best advice you were ever given

‘Live your life with a smile on your face’ ― Mom

Three words others would use to describe you

Free-spirited, crazy…. and organised?

If you could eat only one cuisine for the rest of your life, it would be…

Sushi! Sushi! Sushi! (and maybe I should have some salad…)
