At FoodMesh, our mission has always been to ensure no food goes to waste. But to solve the complex puzzle of food waste in Canada, we first need to deeply understand the "why" behind it.
Today, we are thrilled to announce the launch of our 2026 National Food Study. This isn't just a survey; it is a landmark research project that will serve as the foundation for Love Food Hate Waste Canada programs for years to come.
Turning data into action
By leading this research, FoodMesh is committed to uncovering the habits, hurdles, and motivations of Canadian households. Our goal is simple but ambitious: to use this data to build more effective outreach and education programs.
We want to empower every Canadian to keep more food on their plates and more money in their pockets. By participating, you are helping us design a future where waste is the exception, not the rule.
Share your voice
To build a truly representative picture of household food habits in Canada today, we need to hear from people of all backgrounds, from coast to coast to coast.
The survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete and will remain open until April 27, 2026.
