We are well connected with hundreds of charities who are keen to pick up food at a moment’s notice.
What kind of volumes can you accommodate?
We find matches for your large volumes of surplus food, as little as a few cases to several pallets. Depending on the quantity, it may get collected by one or more organizations.
Why should I donate my surplus food instead of throwing it out?
By donating surplus food, you save money on your waste hauling fees, reduce your organization’s carbon footprint and feed people in need at the same time. It doesn’t get better than that!
I have regular surplus. Can I automate the donation process?
Yes! With our managed diversion service, your surplus food is picked up regularly and reliably by a network of organizations that put it to good use.
What happens if you can’t find a match?
Our network consists of 2,500+ charities and farmers, and we’ll make every possible effort to match your food to one of these recipients. However, there may be instances where there aren’t any recipients in your area, in which case we will let you know within an hour whether or not we can accommodate your request.
Can you accommodate a pickup that’s in a week or two?
Yes! Our service prioritizes quick pickup (within 2 business days), but we will work with you to find a time that suits you best!
Can I sell my surplus food?
Yes! You can sell it at a reduced cost on our Marketplace (although donations fly off the shelves faster than items for sale).
