After witnessing the catastrophic impact COVID-19 was having on the food supply chain and the food security of Canadians, FoodMesh pulled together a unique and experienced consortium of partners across the food, technology and non-profit sector, and all four levels of government to solve a shared problem of food waste reduction, food security and revenue generation.

Part of the consortium was Traction on Demand, who FoodMesh looked to for help scaling their food recovery platform to build and service Canada’s largest online ecosystem of food suppliers, hunger-relief organizations and farmers.
