14 Sep Three pallets of pear juice rescued and redistributed to residents of Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside
It’s wonderful to see the Metro Vancouver Food Recovery Network in action!
Here is the Street Saviours Outreach Society rescuing three pallets of pear juice from a local food distributor. They found each other using FoodMesh’s Marketplace, and are able to ensure that these surplus juices will be shared with residents of Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, rather than end up in our waste streams.
Thanks to you both for giving food a second chance!
